I HAVE NEVER PURCHASED ONLINE BEFORE - IS IT SAFE ?

The Peter Alexander Online Store supplies you with a secure session within our shopping checkout. You will notice a padlock icon on the base of your browser when you enter into our 'checkout'. This indicates that all information entered in the session is secure. Shopping Online is just as secure (if not more secure) than at any other time you may use your credit card.

HOW SAFE ARE MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS?

When you click the 'Place Order' button, we send the transaction directly to the bank. We do not share those details with any third parties. Unlike giving credit card details over the phone, our online system automatically encrypts all your details using the latest SSL V3 encryption standard.

HOW DO I ADD TO MY SHOPPING LIST?

To place an order online you need to have browsed our product departments and added items to your shopping list. You do this within a product page, by selecting a size & colour from the drop down box, and entering a quantity. Then add the item to your list by clicking 'add to list'. When the product is added to your list 'item added' will appear.

ENCOUNTERING AN ERROR AT CHECKOUT?

Some users may encounter a problem with our shopping cart - the most common reason for this will be to do with creating a secure link with our server. This is to do with your SSL - Secure Socket Layer settings. Please read our Technical Specs page if you are encountering problems.

MEMBER SIGN IN

If you are a registered member of Peter Alexander enter your password and username(email address) to begin the checkout process using your account. This is the best & easiest way to shop with us. Checkout is faster, your order information is available to you online to track and you will receive the continuing benefits that we offer our members (ie: special free postage promotions, email updates etc).

IF YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR PASSWORD

If you don't know your password, you can have it reset it here. You will need to remember your 'user name' (which is also your e-mail address) which was used when you created your account. A new password will be sent to your e-mail address. Hint: It is best to the change the password to something easier afterwards.

If you are a member with Peter Alexander over the phone and we do have your e-mail address attached to your membership, you will need a password to access your account securily. You can reset a password on your account here, and it will be sent to your e-mail address. You can then use the password to 'sign in' and place your order online. If you register again on this site, you may lose customer privilages that maybe offered to you in the future, as it will create a new membership number for you and all your past order information and history will not be combined. If we don't have your e-mail address on your membership, you should call us on 1300 366 683 to activate online shopping to your membership first.

All your orders can be viewed online after you have signed in whether you have purchased online or over the phone. You can change your password for increased security, and reset it if you have forgotten it. It is easier and less confusing now to place an order at Peter Alexander Online. GUEST SHOPPING

If you are new to Peter Alexander and don't wish to register, you can still place an order as a guest shopper within Australia only. When you enter our 'checkout' select the option 'continue as guest shopper'. This will begin our checkout process and ask you for details to complete your order (ie:address, credit details etc). By shopping as a guest, you are not remembered as a member. You will miss out on future promtions, catalogues and savings.
